Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Process commission payments for Loan Officers and review payroll data for employees
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any payment issues or inquiries
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting management role
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and general ledger accounting
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Experience with payroll processing is a plus
- Familiarity with financial statement preparation and analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Skills:
- Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
